Company History
Groomers Helper® manufactures and distributes products promoting pet safety and positioning systems for the grooming industry. Products are assembled at the Margate, New Jersey warehouse which is the center of operations. It is here that the staff manages a worldwide distribution center, maintains the company’s web site and marketing efforts, and consults with groomers across the country to help them grow their businesses.
The company works in partnership with the leading grooming supply distributors in the United States, Canada and Australia and promotes the product line at industry tradeshows throughout the year. The company estimates more than 50,000 dogs are groomed each day using the system. and to date, as many as 50,000,000 grooms have been performed using Groomers Helper without a single claim to the company's insurance carrier. The company has gained national recognition through advertising, presenting business building seminars and providing expert advice to groomers on the web, in print and in person.
The owner of the company, Chuck Simons, and his wife Beth Simons, NCMG, run a successful grooming salon in Margate, NJ called The Pet Salon. Their experience has allowed them to design products that work for professional groomers.
The company states that the Groomers Helper® has been endorsed by top groomers in the industry and taught by the leading grooming schools. The system was awarded the Seal of Approval from the International Society of Canine Cosmetologists for meeting and exceeding the manufacturer’s claims.
