Coat & Grooming Tips

The coat should be close, hard, hound coat of medium length. It's easily kept clean. A light application of bristle brush or hound brush with the grain can provide a light massage. In the shedding season you will remove most of the shed with this procedure. Apply in long strokes along the body. Remove all shed.

Facial whiskers are typically trimmed if the pet owner desires it.

More Grooming Tips for Professionals

Whiteners will probably come in handy on discolored white areas of the coat. The oil of the coat may retain dirt that causes the discoloring.
